Buffalo Bills quarterback EJ Manuel has taken aim at the Buffalo Bills for not being competitive enough in the AFC East.
Manuel said the Bills should be competitive and that they should be doing everything they can to be the No. 1 seed.
Manu said he has a lot of respect for the Buffalo fanbase, but he believes they need to get back to being a contender.
Manual is the highest-paid player on the Bills and the only player with an estimated $60 million in salary cap space.
He’s been under contract for the past three seasons, and he is guaranteed $30 million over the next three seasons.
He signed a five-year, $80 million extension with the Bills on June 1, 2020.
The Bills have been struggling to win since Manuel took over the team in 2015.
The team went 3-13 in 2016 and 8-12 in 2017.
Manuel has led the Bills to six consecutive winning seasons and is on pace to finish with a franchise-record six consecutive years of at least 60 wins.
Manulans record: 624-532.
The Buffalo Bills were 5-5 last season.
